Bole Township Roads Project Begins as Contractors Meet Bolewura

The long-awaited construction of roads in Bole township has officially commenced following the introduction of contractors to the Bolewura ahead of the start of physical works.
The District Chief Executive for Bole, Hon. Abdulai Mahmud, on Monday, October 5, 2026, received the leadership of Timeline & Innovations Company Limited, the firm contracted to construct approximately 30.4 kilometres of roads within Bole township.

Maripoma Company Limited has also been engaged to undertake about nine kilometres of township and inner roads as part of efforts to improve road infrastructure and mobility in the area.
The contractors, led by the DCE and the Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Dr. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, paid a courtesy call on the Bolewura to formally introduce the companies and brief the traditional leader on preparations to commence the project.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for the traditional authority and other stakeholders to be informed about the scope of the project and the contractors' readiness to begin construction works.
Hon. Abdulai Mahmud expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama and the Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Dr. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, for their efforts towards securing the contractors for the long-awaited township roads project.
The project is expected to improve road connectivity within Bole, ease movement of people and goods, and support economic and social activities in the township.
The commencement of the project is being welcomed as a significant step towards addressing some of the road infrastructure challenges confronting residents and businesses in Bole.
