Chairman Arisky Leads Delegation to Tolon to Mourn Nyab Tolon Naa Sulemana

NDC Northern Regional Chairman hopeful, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Jalil, popularly known as Director Arisky, has led a delegation to the Tolon Traditional Area to mourn with the bereaved family and the people of Dagbon following the passing of the Paramount Chief of Tolon, Nyab Tolon Naa Sulemana.
The death of the revered traditional ruler has plunged the Dagbon Kingdom into mourning, with tributes pouring in from across the region in recognition of his leadership, service and contribution to the traditional and social development of his people.
Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Jalil, who visited Tolon shortly after news of the chief’s passing, expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, traditional leaders and the people of the Tolon Traditional Area.
During the visit, Chairman Arisky was seen consoling family members and elders while offering words of comfort and solidarity during the difficult period.


According to his team, the visit reflects his belief that leadership goes beyond moments of celebration and political engagement, and requires standing with the people during times of grief and adversity.
He described the passing of Nyab Tolon Naa Sulemana as a great loss not only to the Tolon Traditional Area but also to Dagbon and the Northern Region as a whole.
Chairman Arisky prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and the entire Tolon community as they come to terms with the loss.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Paramount Chief, saying his legacy of leadership and service would continue to inspire generations.
The delegation expressed its deepest condolences to the Tolon Traditional Council, the bereaved family and the people of Dagbon during this period of mourning.
