The Chief of Lamashegu, Lamashe-Naa Alhaji Mahama Iddrisu, has conferred a chieftaincy title on the Senior Vice President of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, Surveyor Isaac Larbie, in recognition of his professional achievements and contribution to national development.
Surveyor Isaac Larbie took cola at the Lamashe-Naa’s Palace in Lamashegu, Tamale, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and was recognised as Lamashegu Naa Zosimli Naa. He is expected to return to the palace in the coming days for his formal enskinment.

The honour follows his exemplary leadership at the 2026 Annual Quantity Surveying Division Conference of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, held at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale. At the conference, the Ghana Institution of Surveyors also honoured Lamashe-Naa Mahama Iddrisu for his exemplary leadership, support for professional development and commitment to the advancement of the Dagbon Kingdom and the Northern Region.
Surveyor Isaac Larbie expressed gratitude to Lamashe-Naa Mahama Iddrisu and the elders of the Lamashegu Traditional Area for the recognition. He pledged to uphold the values of the traditional area and serve as a worthy ambassador of Lamashegu.
