Sagnarigu MCE calls for stronger local governance and improved staff welfare

The Municipal Chief Executive for Sagnarigu, Mohammed Imoro Gong, has called for stronger collaboration among staff of the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly to improve local governance and enhance service delivery to residents.

He made the call when he warmly welcomed the Head of the Local Government Service, Professor Lord Mensah, to the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly for a staff durbar.

The engagement focused on strengthening local governance, improving staff welfare and enhancing administrative efficiency within the Assembly.

Mr. Gong expressed appreciation to Professor Mensah for the visit and appealed for support to improve office accommodation, logistics, staffing and opportunities for staff development.

He reiterated his commitment to promoting discipline, teamwork and transparency while improving revenue mobilisation to enable the Assembly to provide quality services to the people of Sagnarigu.

The MCE also encouraged staff to actively engage with the Head of the Local Government Service and work collectively towards building a more professional and citizen-centred Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly.
