Tingawura Sampson Seidu Abudu, Savannah Council of State Representative, Dies After Illness

The Savannah Regional Representative on the Council of State, Tingawura Alhaji Sampson Seidu Abudu, has reportedly died after a short illness.
The Bole Traditional Council announced the passing of the revered traditional ruler in the early hours of Sunday, August 28.
In a statement, Yiram Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso, Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, together with the Chiefs and Elders of the Sarfope Royal Gate and the people of Bole, described the late Tingawura as a father, beloved uncle, brother and great unifier whose death has left the community in profound sorrow.
The late Tingawura Sampson Seidu Abudu was a respected traditional ruler and a former District Chief Executive for Bole. Until his death, he served as the Savannah Regional Representative on the Council of State.
The Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA) has also expressed deep sorrow over his death, describing him as a distinguished traditional leader, philanthropist, statesman and respected son of the Bole Traditional Area.
According to GLYA, the late Tingawura dedicated his life to service, generosity and the development of his people, with particular contributions to education, youth development and community advancement.
The Association recalled his participation in its 50th Anniversary Celebration held in Buipe earlier this year, saying his presence demonstrated his commitment to youth development, unity and the progress of Gonjaland.
GLYA further commended his service on the Council of State, where he brought his experience, wisdom and traditional leadership to bear on matters concerning the Savannah Region and the nation.
The Association described his death as a significant loss to his family, the Bole Traditional Area, the Savannah Region and Gonjaland, and extended its condolences to the Bole Traditional Council, the Sarfope Royal Gate, the bereaved family, the Council of State and all who mourn his passing.
GLYA prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him mercy and admit him into Jannatul Firdaus, while asking Allah to grant the bereaved family and mourners the strength to bear the loss.
