Yendi MCE encourages Adwumawura 2026 beneficiaries to maximise opportunity

The Municipal Chief Executive for Yendi, Hon. Sugri Muniru, has encouraged beneficiaries of the 2026 Adwumawura Programme to take the training seriously and make the most of the opportunities provided under the initiative.
Speaking at the launch of the programme in Yendi, Hon. Sugri Muniru urged the beneficiaries to actively participate in the training, apply the knowledge and skills they acquire, and use them to develop sustainable businesses.

The Adwumawura Programme is a Government of Ghana initiative aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40, as part of efforts to create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth through entrepreneurship.
The second cohort of the programme has brought together 120 young entrepreneurs from across the Yendi Municipality to receive training and support to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and improve the sustainability of their businesses.

Hon. Sugri Muniru said the training presents an important opportunity for the beneficiaries to acquire practical knowledge that can help them grow their businesses, create jobs and contribute to the economic development of the municipality.

He therefore urged the beneficiaries to demonstrate commitment throughout the training and ensure that the knowledge and skills gained translate into productive and sustainable ventures.
