Haruna Iddrisu Receives Chinese International Juvenile Peace Cup Trophy

Players of Steadfast/Karela FC have presented the trophy they won as runners-up in the 12th edition of the Chinese International Juvenile Peace Cup to the club’s owner, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.
The young players, who represented Ghana at the international tournament in China, delivered an impressive campaign, winning all five of their group-stage matches to top their group with 15 points and scoring 31 goals before eventually finishing second.
Receiving the trophy, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu commended the players and technical team for their outstanding performance and said he was particularly pleased that five members of the squad had earned opportunities to pursue football development in Europe.
He encouraged the players to remain disciplined, work hard and stay focused on their long-term development, stressing the importance of taking advantage of every opportunity to improve their careers.
Hon. Haruna Iddrisu also assured the team of his continued support as Steadfast/Karela FC works to nurture young talents and provide them with opportunities to compete and develop on the international stage.
The achievement marks another significant milestone in the club’s efforts to expose its young players to international football and create pathways for them to pursue professional careers.
