Young people in the Nanton Constituency are benefiting from skills training under the BizBox Project, an initiative aimed at equipping young people with practical skills and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.

The beneficiaries are currently undergoing training designed to enhance their skills and prepare them for entrepreneurship and employment opportunities. Upon successful completion of the training, the participants are expected to receive start-up kits to enable them to establish or expand their own businesses.

The initiative is being facilitated through the efforts of the Member of Parliament for Nanton, Hon. Dr. Mohammed Sherif Abdul-Khaliq, whose interventions continue to focus on empowering young people and improving economic opportunities within the constituency.

The programme is expected to help beneficiaries become economically independent while contributing to job creation and the development of their communities.

The initiative underscores the importance of investing in the youth, as empowering young people creates stronger families, more resilient communities and greater opportunities for local economic development.
