Steadfast/Karela FC Return to Ghana After Impressive China Campaign

Steadfast/Karela FC players who travelled to China to participate in the 12th International Juvenile Peace Cup have safely returned to Ghana.
The young footballers arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday following a remarkable campaign at the international youth tournament, where they showcased the quality and potential of Ghanaian football.
Steadfast/Karela FC enjoyed an outstanding run in the competition, winning all five of their group-stage matches. The team topped their group with a perfect 15 points while scoring an impressive 31 goals.
Their impressive performance earned them a place in the final, where they faced Spartak-2 Moscow. Despite putting up a strong fight, the Ghanaian side suffered defeat and finished the tournament as runners-up.
The 12th edition of the International Juvenile Peace Cup brought together young talents from several countries, including Pakistan, South Korea, Russia, China and other neighbouring nations. Steadfast/Karela FC were the only African team to participate in the competition.
Their achievement represents a significant milestone for the young players and a proud moment for Ghanaian football, demonstrating the potential of the country’s next generation of football talents on the international stage.
